Onyx is more scalable than any other Linux distribution.

A single installation of Onyx Enterprise x86-64 can support:

•  4096 processors 
• 16 exabytes of memory
• Single filesystems as large as 16 exabytes
• Single files as large as 8 exabytes.

To further improve scalability, Onyx has out-of-box solutions for HPC clustering, iSCSI and Fibre Channel SANs, InfiniBand, LVM, and distributed computing tools such as memcache and distcc.
